MISSION

It is known that 1% of the United States population self-harms, self-mutilates, cuts, burns, scratches, pulls hair; the list can go on and on. In the UK it is just a little bit under that; more and more people are self-harming themselves to reach out for so many reasons that can't be stereotyped with phrases and like emo and attention-seeking.

This mission of this site, if I could even call it such, is just to have a place for people to come to if they want to relate; want to learn more about friends that SI or are depressed; or just don't want to feel alone. Hopefully this site will expand with more knowledge and information, more stories and quotes, and with the hopefully more people will become aware of why cutting isn't just the emo thing to do.
